Going to switch to a fuel cell between the frame of my 2nd gen '95 4runner. Anyone happen to know offhand what the factory gauge's ohm rating is? Would like to retain my factory gauge.

Not sure yet, trying to decide on buying one built, or building my own and tank lining it.

Thought about getting a spare fuel tank and cutting the lock ring out of the top of it to use, But I am changing my 4.3 from TBI injection to full vortec, which requires higher fuel pressure. Have to see what third and fourth Gen 4runner fuel pressure is.

I try to use stock parts whenever possible so they are available at local auto parts stores in a pinch.

Factory repair manual has ohms value (under testing sending unit for correct values). When I closed Downey, I couldn't keep my "one each of every manual Toyota ever printed", consequently I can't help you with this.

Jim, Know you caught a lot of B.S. on this site, I was looking through an old downey catalog and saw the extended range tanks for 4runners. cool stuff, sorry to see downey go.
