F to 2F engine/trans/transfer swap

Not sure if the oil cooler can work w/ the clutchless fan water pump...also the 3 speed tcase has a different tooth count on the idler gears than the 4 speed, so you will need to obtain a 16 spline? 31 tooth input gear, a spacer, and a special bearing that fits the rear of the tcase housing and is sized right for the 16 spline input shaft. I know that Mark has this as a set with the new gear, spacer and correct bearing to go from 4 speed trans to 3 speed transfer. Might also check w/Georg. Keep us posted on the water pump/fan/radiator clearance issues. What alternator are you going to run?

The clutchless water pump will work with the oil cooler. I just had to do this set up on mine. Was a '74 with an f motor, now has a '86 2F in it. Oil cooler hooked up, no fan clutch, but not much distance between fan and radiator either.

Here's what I plan to use.Non clutch fan and oil cooler WP.The pig this motor came out of must have had A/C.I found this compressor at the bottom of the box.The cool thing is,my pig has an A/C setup,complete minus a compressor.So I guess she will get working A/C as well
