Well, I'm frustrated at searching the internet, looking through supplier websites, and trying to search through mud, with no luck.

I'm looking for an “f” engine rocker shaft stand and clamp.

I installed Holley fuel injection on it and was trying to get the final relearn done on it, but it was loading up (because of to much fuel pressure with hollys built in pressure regulator, another story on that) and I had a bad backfire.
I determined the cylinder that is missing then removed the valve cover and found my reason for the cylinder miss and of all things a valve rocker lifter shaft became unconstrained by the the rocker arm receptacle. Pushrod is not bent, or damaged, it just came loose from the rocker arm. Why bad backfire?!?!

So, I'm investigating and see that the rocker arm shaft stand cap corresponding to that push rod is cracked down the centerline of the cap , nothing is distorted, (I recall seeing the crack a long time ago, but it was not running in the shop and I wasn't concerned with that then.
Well now she's running and I need to replace this cracked stand and clamp at minimum.

So does anyone have a stand and clamp they want to sell? or should I buy a whole set of the stands for integrity of like parts etc.

What I have is a "F" engine, 1966 model super low mileage, runs like a sewing machine before the backfire and part disconnection issue.

If it is an F135 engine, those rocker stands are more prone to cracking than the F145 stand that replaced it in 1967. Unfortunately, they are not interchangeable. And yes, finding one loose stand is not an easy thing to do.

I have a few F135 rocker arm assemblies available for purchase, as complete assemblies. You are welcome to contact me at my store to follow up. Contact info in my avatar and signature line.

OK, my delima has been corrected thanks to @Texican , he had a yard art cruiser with the rocker assy complete. I drove over to BONHAN and got it Saturday. It now sounds super quiet again, I'll reset my valves tomorrow and finally start my test drives. So in the future I have extras in case others have this rare occurence.

Also,
If I knew this way back when I pulled the head to have the valve seats hardened, I didn't recall that the stand is one piece, it just has one side cut to clamp the rocker shaft. So for all my guesses I could have over tightened it or it had a stress crack etc.

No more cares now she is running.

@65swb45 Mark is the change from F135 to F145? Is this when the push rods got thicker?

Yes John. I mentally mark the cutoff/transition at 9/66 for virtually all the changes, both to the engine and to the body. It’s an easy reference point, even if it’s not 100% accurate.
