Hi everybody I own a 1964 fj45. Stock F engine and O recently upgraded the wiring harness and Im looking for a 100 amp alternator than can be mounted just like the original. Can anyone point me in the right direction? She has no power steering or a/c. Thanks..

One other alternator upgrade if you are not running a huge stereo and AC is adding an internal regulator 60 series alternator.

55 amp

Tape off the factory white/blue at the external regulator.

Run a 4 G wire from the post on the back of the alternator direct to the battery.

Run wire off negative coil to the top output on the alternator

Works like a charm.

Great link!

Be sure you aren’t running these through the stock AMP gauge. I’m sure you’re not but can’t hurt to have a reminder.
How do you NOT run this through your stock amp guage?

I don’t use stock gauges. One wire from the alternator to the battery. Signal wire shared with the DUI.

Snipers have amp gauges as do Dakotas if used.

The two I did without either I had to use and aftermarket gauge.
