So hands down the Extremeair is better but the viaair is a great product as well correct? In an 80 where the 3rd row seats attach on the drivers side I will mount a stainless plate to hold my basslink and the compressor. I have an 8 gallon air tank that will go where the factory spare went. Primary use will be to power a grover air horn at 90 PSI but will also be used for the trail to reseat tires and operate some air tools at times. Will probably use a pressure switch keeping between 85/105 psi. Also added a 2/0 welding cable about a year ago to the rear to power a stereo amp--power will be sufficent.

With a 150psi working pressure, you can fill air tanks and run impact wrenches to dismount and mount wheels easily. For clean air in the dirtiest environments, the ExtremeAire uses a... $369.95

I have the Extreme Aire connected to a 2.5 gallon tank and it works great for filling my 35" tires. They both have a 100% duty cycle, so that's a match. The Viair has a free flow rate of 1.76 CFM while the Extreme Aire has a free flow rate of 4.0 CFM. That's the main difference. The CFM for both will drop as psi increases.

Both, I'm sure, would do the job. If you have ARB's, you can also connect the ARB pump with the Extreme Aire/Viair pump to increase the air output.

About how long does it take you to take a 35" tire from, say, 20lbs to 35lbs direct from the Extreme Air?
