bashed in the front end of 1987 pickup truck. Have been trying to find an exploded view or manual for front end to see what parts may be replaced. Does anyone have this? I looked in the 85 FSM but did not find much.

If you're talking about getting factory OEM parts from Toyota, you're pretty much SOL. I looked into this when I was getting ready for paint a couple of years ago, nothing available anymore. You can find fenders and hoods on eBay, but not very good quality. Fortunately my original parts were still in decent shape.

All I really need for now is exploded view so i can figure out how it all goes together. Not looking to buy new necessarily, but before I start taking it all apart, it would be helpful to see.

I will most likely do tube bumper, but for now, may just get temporary bumper, or bend old one back into shape. I have a lot of work ahead, so bumper is not priority. really need to get it back on the road so I can use the flat bed to haul things.

Was there not a parts manual for these trucks from TOyota?

I think you're better off getting a front clip, if you can find one.

thanks...

what part is front clip?

A "front clip" is a generic term, it means basically everything from the firewall forward, usually including the fenders, hood, inner fenders, and front core/radiator support. Usually comes from a junkyard.

Cool. I did not realize that I could replace inner fenders.

Is this parts manual online?
