So desktoglory (Richard and Ashley, also from Canada) have been driving their Tundra in Europe, and now Africa for a few years now. I'm not sure the platform matters that much for parts and fixes?
Our gas 100 series was an absolute monster on fuel compared to my HZJ77.
Hmmm. Maybe get an HZJ79, swap the engine's around, sell your 100 with the 1hz and have the best of both worlds with an HDJ79?
I love the simplicity and character of my 70 series but steep grades and elevation made boost necessary here in the Rockies. I will say that every time I drive it (which is usually on a trip) it feels like a true adventure...
