Good for you, dude. I felt really bad thinking of you guys without an expedition rig.

SOCALFJ: Have you camped in the cold in that adventure trailer? How is it sleeping so far off the ground in cold weather?

Thats a sweet setup I'd like to hear some of the details on how you have it setup and more pics :D

Yeah, never noticed any problems. We've always been warm in that setup. There's two of us and a Boston Terrier, so we have our own heater :D The foam insert that's built into the floor on the tent works well. We usually lay a second wool blanket under our bags before we sleep. That way it adds an additional layer of warmth between us and the elements.

Hows this?

What's all that stuff all over your truck. Haha. Sweet looking rig. I can't wait until my 62 starts looking like that.

hahaha, is that tent a little outhouse?

Sweet ride upcruiser. I hope to be posting my build soon. Almost completed my 14" coilover front suspension on my LX450. I'm going for excursion theme as-well.

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. And yeah, it is a bathroom/shower enclosure. I use the PETT toilette system, it works great along with a solar shower which works well in the warmer months. I want to setup a water/heat exchanger off of the truck though in my next rig. I've had this truck 9 years now and am considering moving on to a new project. The next truck is going to be dialed in a bit more since its going to be used on a 12+month trip. :D

I am building my expo rig on a budget.
