The TEQ sticker in the first pick reminded me of "Kilroy was here" for some reason. lol Nice progress!

Mark:
That seems a little stout for carburetor reassembly. :)
You nailed it Mark!

@dieseldog 😛 (loves a good pun)

Everyone thinks of me as a gearhead or a musician (or a writer) but my first love was actually woodworking and carpentry. I started building things for other people when I was 17. Like Matt said about installing the skylight, it’s not just physical work, but a mental challenge demonstrating good motor skills and understanding of how systems interface to do something like build a room from scratch.

Exterior Review Quickie style .........

Matt,

assuming that the wood we see on the outside of the shed is the exterior facing, I’ve always made a point of putting the window directly to the framing, and using the exterior facing to cover the flashing of the window.

the windows are ONLY temp set. mark for anti rain

- after plumb level and square is complete

making sure darn well windows are LOCKED and LACKED up tight too !

here in MARY-HUMID-LAND , we wrap the bottom first , then the sides , then overlap top .......

with a TYVECK stickey window flash , it comes 6" wide

my exterior trim detail will be 1x4 side ex jambs or 5x4 x 4" side jambs so tyveck flashing tape will be cut to only 3" wide to cover the grey nailing flange up water and insect and AIR-TIGHT NOS LONG TERM STORAGE !

BUT ..............

before all that takes place this is the
" TEq Toyota genuine parts " version of Exterior Stain / Wood Preservative

the ENTIRE T-111 structure and ALL 6 sides of ALL trim work WILL get 2 kotes of below wonder product ...

simply put : SHOW ME Another Better same in kind product , im all eyes and ears 🤔

- no sanding between kotes

- can be tinted and comes in a few stock colors like natural Teak

- has the MOST Anti UV inhibiters i can find in any like product ...........

- Quickie dry overnight type product till next if desired kote

- CAN be a one kote product

- I WILL apply 2 kotes because i like over-engineered style end products

- i have used this for over 25+ years with ONLY positive results per the directions on the can followed of course

- what say Uncle mark ?
