I have the Droanmaster 50 series on my RR and another model on my Mustang. Both are V-8s and have a distinct droan around 2,000 rpm. As Bad_fish described, that noise is very annoying at hwy speeds.

Curious, are the resonators simply a smaller diameter muffler of some sort? Or are they actually made for secondary sound reduction and are always smaller size? Can you actually buy a resonator or are you simply buying a smaller muffler? Dumb question I know!

New cats were ordered today, and ordered some tube that will show up on Fri/Mon. Fawk it, will just do it myself. Just need to make sure I get it done by CMCC time so I can fawk it up again

I believe the whistle is caused by the stock rear resonator,

Nillage dude. Hack off the res and the whistle gets louder. With a blower on it sounds cool.
