I know that OEM or Marlin clutches are the way to go. I've already PM'ed Sam Stewart for quote...

What can you all tell me about Exedy clutches? Called the local Wholesale Parts Direct and they quoted me $115 for the kit for my son's 92 truck. Guy at the counter claims that this brand is what they are using to replace oem. I went cheap Oreilly's a year ago and it is near gone.

Thanks in advance,
ML

I haven't ever heard of them, that said my truck has a parts store clutch in it with close to 100k miles on it, true story. I had the trans rebuilt several years ago and they said they couldn't believe how good it looked and how even it had worn. I am probably going to do a Marlin HD upgrade when I get ready to drop in my new motor.

Will be interested in what kind of responses you get on this.

I've used them in three of my pickups, just put one in a few weeks ago, i'd say pedal feel is similar to stock. They're a Japanese made part so quality is good. I first heard of Exedy when I was into the import car world so they're well known there. Check ebay you can get one for about $88 + free shipping
