Mine starts this morning in Springfield MO. Am in Springfield to see the rather ironically bass-pro-shop-sponsored aquarium today? No.

I'm here to pick up my first cruiser - a 91' HZJ77.

I am a noobie to the site, forum and to cruisers for the most part. That being said, every adventure has to start somewhere...

Pictures of the new ride and the 10hr drive back to Austin will follow. In the meantime, if anyone has suggestions on some 4x4 trails in the Ozarks or anywhere between Fayetteville and Texarkana - let me know where I can break her in.

I was there last month doing the very same thing. Get a great hamburger at E's Inn next to Republic Tire and hit the road. Try not to grin your head in two.

I'd. Prudence going off road on a new-to-you 25 year old truck. Something silly like a cracked diff breather can really put a damper on thing so far from home. Also pictures
