I cleaned up the garage a bit tonight so here are some better angles. Hopefully the next angle will be in the street or in the woods.

What front seats are those, they looks nice.

Well, it's time for phase 2 of the V8 swap. Putting my TPI fuel injection setup on.

I ordered an Affordable Fuel Injection harness, ECM and EPROM yestrday. I also ordered a new Lokar throttle cable, and Lokar spoon pedal from Summit. Everything should be here next week. Hopefully I can drive the 40 to the exhaust shop next week and get the O2 sensor welded in place so I can bring it back home and tear the top of the motor down.

Hopefully it will be a weekend install with a week or 2 of driving/adjustments before Gulches.:clap::steer:

Just received the Lokar pedal/cable and the AFI setup. Man is it sweet. It looks super easy to install. Just plug and play. There are only 4 bare wires that have to be hooked up. 12 volt, keyed 12 volt, fuel pump, and a ground.

Now for the tear-down and install. Pics to follow.

Here is the AFI setup that I received. It has the proper ECM tested from them and a custom chip burnt for this application. Pretty straight forward setup. Basically it has the 8 injectors, TPS, IAC, MAP, O2, and distributor plugs. 2 relays, a 12 volt, keyed 12 volt, and 2 ground connections. Pretty much plug and play. As long as all my sensors are working it should be pretty easy.

Also the throttle pedal and cable I got from Summit. They are a Lokar spoon pedal, and SS TPI cable.

MPFI is DONE! Just in time for this great weather. Final install pics, and test run write up to follow.:bounce::bounce::bounce:

This was a nice journey, had some issues but AFI are the best. I will never own a carburated car again.:)

I thought you were selling?

You been under rock, or busy shopping for a truck? The Cruiser Gods spoke months ago, and to apologize for trying to sell her, I had to install FI. Otherwise she would have been pissed off at me for life. Kind of like buying flowers for the wife when you F&*ck up.

Well I don't F***k up so I wouldn't know. i wear the pants.
No I wasn't under a rock. I was just ignoring your post.

Ha, ha.

I went to trade her for a 99 4Runner plus cash, and before I could take delivery the guy totaled the Runner. I took it as a sign to keep her for a little while. The carb. sucked ass. Nothing wrong with the carb I got from you, it actually worked pretty good. It just worked like all carbs. Bad idle, stumble at take-off, shut-off while offroad. I decided it was time to upgrade.
