Congrats to you. glad we were able to convince you to get a 100!

Nolen helped me level out the rig Saturday by cranking on the t-bars. A little easier than leaf spring replacement, to say the least.

Brought the at/ko's up to 45 lbs. Really improved the ride.

Nolen made the atrac chatter at us while flexing out the tbar crank.

Geeesh, somebody needs to get off their ass and cut the grass.....

I'm loving her curves and her skin and the way she moves in that ditch.

them hella500's really tie the front end together

Congrats GT!
I'm interested in the Pre Runner as well if you don't sell it local.
Cheers,
Pat

I thought you hated hundys. Surprised you thought it could even get out of the ditch.

I Don't hate em. Not a big fan of stock IFS thats all. Wife has a sequoia. Same drivetrain. Good commuter/ mild wheeler which is what greg wanted. I was hoping he would have gotten an 80, but he doesnt plan on wheeling the harder stuff with the big wagons. Neither do i for that matter. Level 3 trails is the hardest trail i intend to put the 80 on. Too big & heavy .

Not sure he made it out though ; )

After watching 100's on the trail and watching bookoo 80's on the trail... the way most built 80's are setup gives them no more advantage than a 100. Proof is looking at the "wild wheeling thread" in the 80 section and seeing how many folks carry a front tire through an obstacle like it's an IFS anyway. The rear is a non-issue since it's the same axle and suspension.
You're right Lenny, these walruses should not be doing anything more than a level 3 trail.... Not that the drivetrain can't handle it, but the sheetmetal can't.

2 things a 100 IFS are weak on....CV strength and flex. Like Shunt said, if you lock it up, it does not matter about the latter, however, the strength of the CV is what is the major limiting factor. 35's are pushing it with those. Anything beyond that is a non-player.

Everything else IFS is superior to solid axle.

What is a level 3 trail? Who's scale?

How would you rank what we did in Moab? 1-5? Nothing we did there that Greg's 100 would not have done.

I agree.

what we did in Moab was level 2-3 out of a 5.
