Hey all,
Looking for some tips on where to start. My 96 Cruiser idles high when the engine gets warm. My normal temps are around 185 when driving. But on a warm day it can get up around 190-195. When it gets there the engine idles around 2000rpm when I put the car in park or nuetral. I replaced the radiator, water pump, and coolant hoses a couple of years ago. I was going to start with a new fan clutch and thermostat to see if that helps. Anywhere else I should be looking? TIA!

I'd start with the engine temperature sensors and their circuits. After you check to make sure you have no lurking DTCs.

there's a procedure in the FSM on how to test your idle air control valve as well. Have you tried to reset the ecu by pulling the EFI fuse (not relay) for 20min?

Always check mechanicals first.
I would make sure your throttle cable is adjusted correctly and not sticking.
There should be slack in the cable when the throttle plate is resting on the idle endstop.
