Hey there!!! New to Toyotas and new here...I need some help...I boght a 1994 Toyota ext cab w/bad motor...Had a 99 Tocoma motor with it??? How difficult is this to swap>>> Should I do something different...Build Street Rods & restos by trade, but sure don't want to take months to complete this!!! HELP!!! Thanks...
By the way...Truck has 3.0 and other motor is a 3.8. M/T 4X4

The taco engine is a 3.4 and a GREAT swap. Do a search on yotatech.com, 4x4wire.com and Pirate4x4.com for some great swaps. For swap components, www.offroadsolutions.com has everything you need.

I've heard of that swap being done in a weekend with a bit of help and all the parts on hand, it's not too bad. There's not a lot of fab work, just bits and pieces you need. I think it's best to have the whole donor truck on hand though......
