Yesterday driving down the highway at 60 mph, without a sound or vibration, the tach went to to zero and the car slowed down. Attempting to start absolutely no indication of starting, no attempt to fire. Appears to be total loss of spark.

Is the gas tank empty?

Mine just did this in Glenwood canyon, cranked strong, in between dodging semis I found the igniter cable had come out of the coil, it popped loose, pushed back in and seated it good to go.

Checked mine all in tight.
Mine on the Glenn Highway in Alaska, 80 miles from nearest mechanic.
Good thing it was not in winter!
