Yeah there are a few different ones. Injector, injector circuit, fuel line pressure, air flow meter, and ECM.

I will be checking all of that this weekend, but was hoping to come accross a few people with the same problems, and possibly had definate fix.

Steve

For some reason fuel line pressure (failing fuel pressure regulator?) jumps out at me. Just a guess of course, but I want to get it out there in case I end up being right. :D

I thought that at first too actually, but after discussing it with one of my techs, he was leaning towards something else. A failing pressure regulator should probably throw only one code (I think). I was planning on checking the pressure regulator anyways, I'm down for checking anything at this point. The truck runs great, but I dont like seeing the CEL on.

I just got a rich code when the engine light went on and it turned out to be the MAF sensor. Replaced it and all is well, except for my check book. Neede to replace the thing because the fu@#ing K&N air filter greased ut the works. Ba bye K&N!

Steve,
I've got a leak in the cats from a bad gasket. Every now and then I get codes 25 and 26. I imagine I codeout because the fresh air is rushing into the cat and around the sensor and causing it.

Well much to my suprise, the light went out while driving home Friday night. So now I'm not really sure what set the codes off in the first place. If the codes pop up again I will definately re-post, hopfully with the solution of the codes in the first place. Thanks for your help everyone!

what are you doing when the light comes on . ? :D

Steve - Just a thought - did you by chance get things very wet under the hood before these codes? I don't remember the codes I threw after driving thru some very large puddles at to high a speed and probably sucked in a little water last year. Our local resident parts expert suggested I reset the computer, let things dry out and see if the codes returned. They didn't. Just a thought.

Edit: Check this thread - mine was a code 26 like yours. https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=24581&highlight=code

Sorry - don't have the PM I mention from the man with all the potential problems. I presumed at the time that I'd just ingested a little water. Things dryed out and haven't had the problem since then.

I got a leak where the cats join from knocking the piss out of them on rocks. I got a CEL #420 (insufficient cat). Replaced the gasket and it's gone.
