Anyone out there willing to give me a hand on insight as to the year this 2F engine was made?

Found it in a South American FJ40 1983.

Is this the correct engine? Thanks guys.

It is from the early part of 83’

Most likely late January or early February

The casting number on the carb side of the block will give you a better idea of exact date
