Well...took the plunge as well!!! Just ordered MT45 and will be here in a couple of days!

Got the travel bag as well, but will take several weeks doue to backorders.

Compact Appliance or elswhere?

FYI: I am able to keep a plastic air-tight container of ice cubes for cocktails with mine set for fridge temp mode...I just place them at the bottom corner of my Waeco which is the coldest spot on mine. They keep for several days without thawing!

I'll give that a try. Gotta have ice with the Beam (river runners choice don't cha know)

One member modified his Engle to open from the side like a chest-type freezer. The transit bag is a good accessory. It helps keep the fridge operating and it keeps it from getting banged up in the cargo area.

glad to see more of you jumping on the bandwagon with a good price. after your first trip you will be so stoked - hell, me and my lady still mention it everytime. "how the hell did we do this with an old fashioned cooler?"

still waiting on my slide as it was backordered, but oh well.
