On the Cruise Moab trip we had a couple of issues related to front brake caliper bolts. We were discussing the somewhat unique size, azTony had just ordered new bolts for our Luke bumpers, so mentioned that they are the same size. If a caliper bolt is lost, maybe able to temporally barrow one from the front or rear tow hoops, trailer hitch, etc. Good nugget of info to store, in a pinch may help to get someone off of the trail?

Toyotas, particularly Landcruisers, tend to have the same bolt sizes used a lot. Makes it a lot easier for parts support in undeveloped areas of the world, etc. Thanks for the heads-up on that bolt, though, Tools, as it is kinda unique.

Thanks for the tip Kevin. Always nice to have this kind of information in the back pocket for emergencies.

The bolts that hold the brake rotor on are the same size and work fine to get you home. This field fix has worked for us twice and it's right there.
