I have a 1997 Land Cruiser with factory Elockers. It has 124k miles on it. Ever since I bought it the Elocker lights have been flashing when I've engaged them. Im not sure if they are engaged or not when I go wheeling. Need some help with someone who has experience with these. I will provide favorite beer plus whatever food is desired. Please help

Good chance it is a stuck switch at the actuator. You can unplug it and unscrew the switch to service it.

Researching the topic more my lockers arent engaging for sure. For instance, this weekend I was climbing up a hill and one tire was on a rock while the other was planted on firm ground. The power went to the wheel on the rock, which slipped, and no power went to the tire on the firm ground. Where is this actuator.

I assume reading your post your lockers were engaging and the light was flashing.

There is a ton of info on the subject. Search will be your friend

There's really not too much to them, but over time they do get gummed up, especially if not used. Might just need some TLC. If you can't get the light to go solid (engaged) driving in figure 8's, then it's time for a little cleaning.

And a few youtube videos to kind of walk you thru things. Chances are, yours is just a little gummed up. Have someone push the button while you're under the truck, rule out a problem with the current. If you don't have a spare set of hands, I should be available this weekend. Happy Turkey Gorge!

I have always had good luck just exercising them. Engage them and then start doing figure 8's. I have looked at several trucks that would not lock up and have been able to get them going with this process.
