Ok so I hit a big bump on accident, my motor shuts right off, I look inside and my battery is tipped over, I put the battery back up and my motor turns on, wtf. But why the heck do none of my electronic accesories not work?

Probably shorted out your system when the battery fell over. Did the positive terminal arc against any metal parts when you picked it back up?

I'd start by checking your fuses. Then make sure that the wire coming from the battery that goes to the fuse block didn't pull out during the 'fall.'

Watch out for those big bumps by the way.

Wouldn't that have blown out all the fuses too?

Don't know what year, type truck you have, but most have smaller accessory wires that come off of the battery, most are protected by fuseable links. One or more of them probably broke or blew, the links are available from the dealer.

Solid battery hold downs = a good thing. Moving, flying around batteries = very bad things can happen! Repair, make a new, etc, a solid battery hold down!:D

I have a 1980 Do you know if it would have a fuseable link. or where it is? I'll look into my fsm.

Toyota's fuseable links are not the normal American type.
They are squarish and plug into the fuse box under the hood.

Fusible links

On my '79 longbed pickup, 2wd, the fusible links come right off the positive battery terminal. They have a connector on the non-battery end, and look like two wires. The battery end has one spade lug that plugs into a matching, opposite sex one on the battery cable connector (that sits on the battery post. Kingotopanga
