Ok, I bought one of those electric rust protectors when I bought my FJ-40 about a year and a half ago. The warranty said I could return it if I was not satisfied in 12 months. How can you know it's working on a vehicle that is covered in rust? Well I noticed today that the spots I cleared the rust off like 8-9 months ago did not have any rust on them. My Cruiser is not a DD and it does stay in a garage, but it has gotten wet. I drive on the beach some and have been in a few rain storms. I was mad cause I forgot to paint them but happy to see no rust.
I emailed the guy that sold it to me and asked him if I referred people would he hook me up with another one. I've decided that I would like them for my other vehicles. I think he told me about referring people when I bought it. I was like I just want to wait to see if it works.
