Last time I went wheeling I ran into fuel delivery issues, which ended up causing me to get stuck. So it was suggested to put in a universal electric fuel pump. I am just starting to research it. Anyone have any suggestions with what they have used?

All I know is, if you're mounting it on the frame rail, make a cover for it. My luck and a river rock, knocked out the pump on my 40, miles from a city and Holiday weekend. Don't remember what brand, but buy quality and carry a spare.

Yeah I just read that on your post. I noticed that you put it inside you tank. I have a 55 gallon tank. Seems smart to put it inside. I would imagine that the holes on the top of the tank have to be the same to fit the pump. Are there any hose issues that you had problems with?

This is a good tread on the pump I used. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/in-tank-fuel-pump-conversion.394565/

GM pump and if your tank has a access hole in the same spot as the floor, then you will need to drill and mount the adapter ring to it. Not too hard to do and a nice pump to boot. Running the lines wasn't hard, you'll need some special fittings( push on ) on the pump side.

You will have to regulate the pressure for the 2F specs. and have a return line, but I believe it will work. Best to check first, as I'm not the most reliable source of information.

Edit.. Nothing wrong with a good external pump. Maybe a little noise, but probably a lot easier to set up. If I remember right, used a Holley before the rock got it. Make a simple shield for it and go.

We had to drive to the nearest town and found a guy, who knew a guy that owned the auto parts. went to his house and had him open up the shop. Long day!
