Is it just a question of blanking the EGR pipe at either end or is there anything else that needs to be done?
There is some talk of having a hole in the blanking plates, is this necessary / advised?
Thanks

My understanding is:
-buy and install the Toyota EGR delete block
-Use 1/4" steel aluminum and cut plates with an angle grinder, template your screw holes with cardboard
-Plate both ends
-Use the sensor adaptor fitting to bypass codes

I've never seen where anyone has holes in the blanking plates beyond the two screw holes to hold them on

I got this kit from Poland and it worked perfectly.

Insted of just blanking the plate you replace the EGR with the pipe and cover the port in the exhaust manifold with the blanking plate.

Just observe that there is a difference between the physical layout of the egr pipe between the earlier and later versions, around 2003 for europe. The later has a longer, watercooled pipe, connected more forward on the manifold than the earlier version. Don't know if there are any differences in sizes or blanking plates tho', maybe not. Should be easy to find out in a parts catalogue.
Never heard of any hdj100 needing having any kind of fault code for missing egr. Only heard of getting turbo pressure code from blocked exhaust, and I assume the same would happen when the intake gets too gunked up.
