one thing I noticed was that the gaskets frame work was on the block side while the OEM was on the head side. I'd guess you want that on the head side for more contact area with the aluminum head. I'm only guessing that the narrower side of the fire rings would wear into the head more readily than the other side.
 
I think everyone here would say go to it and wait not so patiently for your follow-up post to say "told you so":grinpimp: IMHO why go through the hassle of replacing the head gasket and go cheap on a non-oem. Part of replacing it is peace of mind. Toyota designs/makes reliable cars for a reason, they don't cheap out!
