Windshield angle is the same. I have an '80 windshield frame on my '72 FJ40.

Please answer a couple of basic questions for me... Anyone else... Feel free to chime in!
1. I see the filter you used, under the hood, but I don't see a precleaner. In viewing various kits, it appears many come with a precleaner AND a ram air intake head... You have the ram intake head installed. Is it an 'either-or'... E.g. You run the filter under the hood, and EITHER the ram air intake OR the precleaner - never BOTH? I saw old pictures where guys are running a filter under the hood and precleaner on top, or vice versa. I'm confused as to whether I should install both... I will be driving primarily in desert conditions, so it sounds like I should install both... I think I would like the ram air intake head on top and a precleaner, then filter, under the hood... Help?
2. I know I need to vent my differentials ... Is there anything else that should be vented before driving in 3 feet of water?

Good questions. I don't run a pre-cleaner and I really can't comment with any authority on whether to use one or not. I suspect in the desert one would be beneficial. As far as venting goes, I only have both axles vented.
