One of my cats was making a noise (jerry rigged universal cats have been welded in) someone must have stolen the oem ones at some point.

I was considering using these eBay ones…has anyone tried them ?

I've never used those, but I have a similar set saved in my ebay wish list just in case. There are sets as cheap as $125 on ebay also.

Yea oem cats are $1500-$1800 per side. No way I’m going for that on a 7,000 truck lol

I’m now getting the loud rattling for about 10 seconds only on cold start. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse

@pavell Definitely check the heat shields that are directly around the cats. I had a rattle like you’re describing and it turned out that one of the welds on the heat shield broke. On cold start the heat shield would rattle. It was an easy fix. Just bought a 5” metal worm clamp for $5 and tightened it around the heat shield.
