have four wires on bosshogs rig we're trying to figure out. these are on a 1969 wiring harness on the drivers side apron midway down and we're installing a 1978 powertrain with 69 regulator, but 78 coil/alternator/starter
we believe we have voltage regulator, alternator, coil, horn relay, inspection plug, reverse light, fuse block, marker/turn/headlights, heater, starter wired correctly. we have identified the now dead 4wd indicator plug and the w/s washer plug. what we haven't identified are
single black/yellow wire with forked terminal approximately under the regulator (but we think we have regulator hooked up correctly already)
longer (6" or so) taped off pair of small guage wires with standard cruiser "T" plug setup with yellow/red and white/black wires, same location as above
3" or so paired wires white/lavender (which is normally ignition circuit) joined with a green/red at a forked connector, still same locale
lastly, just a bit closer to the firewall, under fuse block area is green/red and white/red joined at a forked terminal. white red should go to fuel sender system, green/red is often lighting. i'm pretty certain this goes to the fuse block for power to sender/turn signal flasher.
