To complete restoration under the seat, I need the original tools. I have located an original metal toolbox, but need the tools.

I understand that later years came with the tool roll with the same tools, so I could use those. Let me know what you have and can depart with for sale. Thanks.

While later tool rolls included the same type of tools as earlier kits, some later tools are not identical to their earlier counterparts. If you are putting together the correct kit for your 57, you'll want the early tools.

The 1958 FJ25 parts catalog lists the tool roll tools. Metal box kits did not include a hammer or engine adjust kit, and had a 5-wrench set instead of 6-wrench set.

Highlighting some differences in these early tools, for reference, not for sale.

Screwdrivers are marked Toyota Motor on the shank, no country of origin marking (Japan or Made In Japan)

Adjustable wrench is marked 10 inch instead of 250mm.

Thanks for the info. I'm going by a 1958 Ownwers manual per the picture attached. So these below specifically I'm looking for.

The 1958 Parts Catalog is probably a better reference. That page is from the 1963 FJ40 Owner's Manual, same picture and info is in the 1964 FJ40 manual as well. The photos in both those manuals show JDM vehicles. Neither the 1958 FJ25 Instruction Manual or 1960 FJ25 Owner's Manual include a picture or description of the tool kit.

The metal box tool kit was included with JDM Land Cruisers. Land Cruisers for export got the canvas tool roll and additional tools. Details on this are in the 1963 FJ25 parts catalog.
