E-Brake light coming on dim.

Well I don't like to ignore things by unplugging and forgetting about them. Placed my order with CDan this morning along with the SST's for the f/r axles and ds seat cusion.

Who cares about the light and sensor. You prolly wont forget to check your fluid level from time to time and if you don't know when your e-brake is on then you have other problems! haha I had the same prob, unplug and leave it. no worries, not gonna hurt anything.

As mentioned above, on your year you won't have cruise control without it. Or have you unplugged that too?

Same here. Got it yesterday. Five minutes later and no more brake light on the dash.

Is it a cap? Or a sensor?

Depends on what year. Some have a float on the cap and some are in the reservoir.

Thanks Dan....I've been searching for the last half hour, and I thought I had discovered it was a combo deal....

Mine is a 94, I Guess I'll have to search again, I think most of the replys were from 95+ guys.....

Or I can wait until morning, take a look, and call you (after I check the pads, I'm pretty sure they are due)

Regardless, looks like time to order something or another!
