Ok - so this might sound like a really dumb question - but - I am headed out on a rafting trip and pay to have my LX and trailer shuttled from the put-in to the take out. With my older 100 I had the driver lock the key in the car when he parked it at the take out. I carried the extra key, and opened it up when I got there. But - with the 200, I don't think that is possible. Anyone know how to handle this?

A see a couple options:

Remove the key portion from the fob and keep the fob in a faraday bag or remove the battery. Fob may be left in the vehicle. As for the key, you can take it with you or find a good hiding spot somewhere on the exterior of the vehicle.

Yep ^. I run an RFID blocking bag for my fob and take the valet key with me..... for surfs, I'll sometimes lock the valet key in a realtors lock-box on my hitch...

Just double check that your faraday bag works - it doesn't for my wife's ride but works great on my LC.

^^^ @erikvogel This!!

Here's the Faraday bag I use: Mission Darkness Faraday Bag on Amazon

I keep my spare fob in the Faraday bag in my vehicle and have hidden the physical key outside the vehicle - I'll always have a way in!

I wrap mine in a piece of foil. Not an elegant solution, but it does work

We were just talking about this issue on Sunday while boating. How many vehicles are being shuttled? Our solution is to put my vehicles keys into another person's vehicle that is also being shuttled. For that matter if both vehicles have keyless entry just toss the keys for each in the opposite vehicle.

You're braver than I am. I trusted my keys to someone else's truck a few times.... it only took one "I'm sorry" for me to realize I prefer to shoulder the responsibility entirely :-)

Just take out the battery. Takes about 10 seconds. I don't know about others but my fob seems to eat batteries. I'm getting used to changing them every 6 months anyway.

I shuttle my truck weekly, I leave a note in the car asking them to wrap it in foil and put it in the middle consul.
