Dual Transfer cases: Do they affect hwy driving?

They actually offered this setup (465/203) for several years. The connecting piece is not common, but it's not really all that hard to track down. You need to check the condition of the splines on the output shaft of the 465 and the input gear of the 203 if you find one of these combos. These coarse spline setups wear badly.

I actually had the adapter piece between a 203 and a 465 for quite a while. But it is only usefull if you have the super long input 203.. Very odd setup..
