Check out this cool little bar I designed to fit between my @sleeoffroad dual swing outs.

This is awesome because you don't need a tree and it fits nicely under my Foxwing to keep light rain and dew off.

It's made of 1.25" DOM and we tested it with 2 Eno's and 400# this weekend so all good

Very nice, I hope to get one of their rear bumpers one day

One advantage of the Slee swingout locking into place with the pin.

I discovered the need for it and the awning when I went to Big Bend. There are no trees to tie to and no shade.

My next purchase is some awning extensions (2) to make the sleep in there real

Big Bend Nevada?
One of the 80 Cool Cruiser guys has an awning that rigs between two arms that angle off his swing outs. It makes a nice shelter for cooking etc.
More likely Big Bend National Park (Texas/Mexico border in Texas). There are NO trees anywhere out there. Awesome place, though.

@LFD2037 I am haunted by the place. I have been going since 1988.

Next trip is in January and we are going to spend the first night and a day driving BBSP. Let me know any highlights you have

Biggest highlight would be the Uranium Mine. I did a small write-up in the trails-expedition section. Check it out & hopefully it'll help. Have a buddy @ work that has 2,000 acres in Terlingua & we're gonna go there this winter. Should be cool.
I need to make one of the ENO holders for my rear bumper. Thanks for the heads up!

Big Bend National Park or Big Bend State Park?

Do I hear a "100s in the desert" annual trip in the works?

I can understand. My group usually takes the relaxed pace.
