One of the 80 Cool Cruiser guys has an awning that rigs between two arms that angle off his swing outs. It makes a nice shelter for cooking etc.

More likely Big Bend National Park (Texas/Mexico border in Texas). There are NO trees anywhere out there. Awesome place, though.

Yep. National Park. Went in July. 65* at night in the Basin. 120* on the desert floor.

We went in March. 75 day/38 night. We stayed @ the BB Ranch State Park, though. Did 100+ miles off road. Had a blast!

Biggest highlight would be the Uranium Mine. I did a small write-up in the trails-expedition section. Check it out & hopefully it'll help. Have a buddy @ work that has 2,000 acres in Terlingua & we're gonna go there this winter. Should be cool.
