Awesome thanks! I reached out to John at OE to see if they can add something for the LC100 to the lineup or just use the 4runner mount like you did. It doesn't seem like there are many options for us out there.
This was so easy to fit (to a non-AHC, charcoal-canister-in-the-back LC) it doesn’t seem like making a separate product would make sense. Drill one hole in the mount, buy an M8 screw, cut off a fuel filter ear and bolt it up…. I guess John could drill that additional hole himself and write some instructions and market it for the 100….

What was the cost to get one. I was seriously about to buy the slee kit.
I got my BCDC mount from AUS, and think tota cost was around $100, but believe REDARC US is selling them now—check their site?

Found it—actually had to dig a bit….rejoice, you’ll be paying a lot less than I did for the privilege of being an early adopter 😂

As a tester here in the US of the prototype, these are well made and make this a braindead install. Happy to have them making this for us and a digital/automatic solution for dual batteries [and solar input as well!].

I'm just concerned that the placement is to far from the destination battery. Doesn't it have to be close?
It's only about 3-4' of wire away from the destination battery which I don't believe (no time right now to consult the manual for hard numbers) is any problem at all a problem with 6 or 8AWG wire--far better to have it this far away and cool than closer and hot, which seems like the only other approach. . .

FWIW...I've had my Redarc mounted to the Slee tray for two years and through all the high temp experiences. TX, NM, AZ, UT, CO summers. Slow going on technical trails with zero issues. Looking forward to your solar updates @mdcoa

Recently added an Anderson PowerPole and a ground wire to the yellow lead from the REDARC so I can plug in our new Overland Solar Bugout 130….

And today added a Thornwave PowerMon to monitor the 2nd battery. Pretty slick, amazing Bluetooth range for readouts on an app. Easy install. Weatherproof. Did a fair bit of research, and this seemed to be head and shoulders above anything else I could find. So far so good. Install location (used VHB tape after using some red grease in the corner to ensure it wasn’t fouling the hood).

They recommend there or inside the vehicle--most of the engine bay is going to be too hot. With optimum function below 130F, even this spot might not be cool enough on a slow trail day somewhere warm. . .
I mounted my BCDC inside on the passenger kick panel. I can see the lights while I'm driving so I know what's happening and it stays cool.

i wonder if that mount would work on my 2001. I seem to have a lot more stuff in that area than you do. charcoal canister?
Not sure—how close is the canister to the fuel filter mounting location? And its height?
Happy to measure this to see if it’d fit over/around the canister…

After looking at your photos and what I've got I don't think there's any possible way??

Yeah, it sure does look like that's the case--that screw holding your canister to the fender is threaded into the hole I used for the fuse block mount. . . . but there are probably all kinds of clever other places to mount these. . .

Some ideas from an 80 series thread: Blue Sea Fuse Box Mounting options etc - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/blue-sea-fuse-box-mounting-options-etc.966156/
And from a 200 series thread: Blue Sea Systems Fuse Box and Circuit Breaker Install - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/blue-sea-systems-fuse-box-and-circuit-breaker-install.905292/

Also would almost certainly fit on this: 100 Series Land Cruiser and LX470 Accessory Tray - https://owlexpedition.com/collections/100-series-land-cruiser-lx470/products/100-series-land-cruiser-and-lx470-accesory-tray

(or you could mount it to the back of the battery as pictured in the Owl Expedition link above . . . )
