Got my DS back from the shop. Put it in and BAM!! No more vibes! I replaced the U joints with OEM and still had vibes. Checked the phasing and it is correct as per the FSM. Check out the weights he added in the photos. There were 2 weights on there already from the factory> The ones in the photos were added by the machine shop. I highly recommend the guys at Bergers Machine shop in Hagerstown, Md!

The front one relative to the drive flange on the transfer case, and the rear one relative to the pinion flange. You want both of these to be opposite but as close to the same as possible. If they're more than degree or two off, you will get a vibration in a certain gear and rpm.
This example is from my 40, but you can see the idea.
Ended up doubting my angle measurement tool... So I measured again tonight with a digital one ...
Got 86 degrees on both flanges and the driveshaft sit at 7 degrees .. so no issues there .
Kept looking and found that my front joint was toasted ... Less than 1000miles on it and no new spare ... Took an old OEM one and cleaned it. The vibration is gone.
I assumed the new parts were good ... No more Moog for me ....Disappointed almost every time .
