I searched and din't really find what I was after.
My rig has a newer transmission and a marlin built Dual Ultimate cases going in it, when ever Marlin gets it built and shipped.
My question is... Is the front DC shaft a good choice to lengthen and use in the rear? I know DC shafts are normally weaker ,but if I can point the pinion at the case it will get the driveshaft up out of the rocks better. Just wondering what you guys have done.
The only problem I see is that I have two front DC shafts and both are from an 83. Talking to C-Dan...He mentioned that Toyota discontinued the u-joints for the front shaft. But, I don't think its a huge deal if I can find them elsewhere.
Thanks again,
