Drivers side door metal bent .. need to make straight

I accidentally left my FJ in neutral with my drivers side door open and it rolled backward and the door caught on the garage and ripped it backward a bit and bent the metal where the door connects ... doh
Anyways anyone have an idea how I should bend that metal back straight a bit? ... I was able to already straighten where the door connects but now the other part. I'm about to put a piece of 2x4 wood and just mallet hammer the shiz out of it but I figured someone might have a better idea ???

On an open panel, a shrinking dolly hammer can help. On a tight, radiused corner designed for providing strength , that won’t work. Careful cuts should be made at the wrinkle points to relieve the stretch. Often, the two sides will come back together with only minor dolly work once the stress has been relieved.

After his troopie was T-boned and declared a total loss, @tlaporte gave me the challenge of trying to rescue his mangled A pillar. I did not offer a ready to paint repair, but with a few judicious cuts @dusty66 and I were able to pull everything back into place.
