My drivers window will not go up all the time.If I turn truck off and let it sit a few minutes it will then work.I replaced switch with a switch doctor one and it seemed to work fine for awhile.Then one day in cold it didn't.Now its warm and it wont go up after putting it down.It will go up a little bit at a time when driving if iwait a few minutes between tries.97 fzj80

Mine likes to do this, sometimes I can unlodge it by lightly to moderately beating against the upper trim on the door, just below the window. A couple good knocks while holding the button and it usually flies right up!
The motors get weak over the years. Guessing thats probably the issue, but even if it isn't you'll probably find whatever is wrong when you open up the door to replace it.
