After the sas conversion my front drive shaft was not only to short but the double u-joint(???) wasn't flexible enough so I couldn't attach it to the front diff. I was going to replace it with an ordinary drive shaft but the bolt-pattern wasn't the same...

Could anyone tell me what to do?

I have a 91-4runner with 2LT-II engine and the gear driven t-case. Is the bolt patter different for regular t-cases?

I'm not sure about the bolt pattern, it gets complicated and I gave up trying to keep track.

But you need a driveshaft that has a double-cardan joint from a solid-axle truck. They have more flex than the ones from IFS trucks.

Agreed on the driveshaft, get an sa one and build a square d-shaft, unless you plan on driving at highway speeds in 4wd, then get a shop to add some spline and lengthen it.

As far as the flanges, there are a lot of companies selling drive flanges for thirds and tcases with multiple bolt patterns. You'll either need to hunt some down to fit the shaft pattern you get, or buy the drilled ones, I believe Marlin, Trail-gear and All pro sell them to name a few.
