I've been reading posts on this, and have a question or two.
When I drained the power steering fluid on my 60, following the FSM, I put the front on jackstands, pulled the return line and put it in a bottle, started the truck, and turned lock to lock till there was no more old fluid in there. Then filled it with fresh ATF, turning lock to lock till it was full and bled.
Is this the same procedure for a 22RE (87 4Runner)? Seems like it should be, but I don't have the 4Runner FSM.
Thanks.
