Ok guys and gals, I don't even have the latest batch of Downey rear fuel cells ready to ship yet, and I've sold all but 2 of them. It took a year to get them (Covid unemployment issues), and I sure as hell should have had more molded. The cost on 3 different components went up significantly, sooooo the new price for complete tank kit is $688.00- - -lemme know

I will buy one. Sent you a PM with my info.

Also interested but wanted to know how they work. Do you have to modify the exhaust? And any info on what else I’d have to modify? How do you fill them up etc… any pictures would be appreciated. mine is a ‘77 FJ40, all taken apart down the bare frame, but soon will have a rolling chassis. Thanks in advance

1. Yes, you might have to re-route exhaust if it is too close to the tank, or re-locate muffler altogether.
2. Tank comes with complete installation instruction sheets. Those sheets can also be found here on Mud under the Downey Off Road link.
3. Tanks have their own filler neck that mounts on passenger's side behind rear wheel well opening
4. Tanks are shown (parts & installed) at ebay #265521530581, but Mud guys do not buy from me on ebay, I merely send a PayPal invoice.

avicenna110, now have one left out of the batch it took a year to get, sooooo you don't have much time to ponder- - -just saying.
