Okay, here is the conclusion from my end: NorCalDoug was right. There are times when I will hit the button on my key fob, it will chirp once, lights will flash the way they should and the doors will not lock. Hit the button again and it chirps once, lights will flash correctly and it will lock. I have no idea why, but now that I an checking the door after I hit the button, I have yet for mine to be unlocked after being unattended. The moral: DON'T RELY ON LIGHTS OR BEEPS, CHECK BEFORE YOU WALK AWAY!
