Hey there fellers!

I was wondering if anyone out there could provide me with these three measurements seen in this picture?

Basically I am trying to figure out if I can make a set of Pickup tube doors mount on my 80 series.

I just need the rough dimensions from hinge to hinge, hinge plane to latch and bottom hinge to the door sill.

OR even better would be the measurements from an actual Tube door.

Vehicles that I am curious about are 84-89 pickups/4runners, 89-95 pickups, or 95-04 tacomas.

Thanks guys!

See picture below for description.

Honestly, I have several doors, both OEM and tube-style laying in my basement right now that I could measure easily. But the problem is I'm not sure exactly where to measure. For instance, when you say "hinge to latch", do you mean from the cab jamb to jamb, or from the face of the hinge to the tip of the latch? The difference will be probably 4-5".

I think your best bet is to find a truck in your area and measure what you need. Post a message in the closest club section, somebody will help you out.

The ones I built for my rig this summer rig ended up being approx 38 1/8 from face of factory hinge plane to center of slam latch (OEM Toyota type), which was center of catch. There might be a little varience depending on where your factory hinges are situated as there is some room for adjustment in them. At least this will give you something to go by for layout....

Thanks guys!! That is what I was looking for. I have a welder and all that good stuff so I don't need anything too precise. I was just curious whether or not they were something I could work with.

Anyone know the measurement between bottom of top hinge to top of bottom hinge? (on the vehicle - not the door)
