Ok, so I have been in the process of working though the issues with the key fob not operating properly on my 2000 UZJ100. I was disassembling the drivers door take a look at the actuator and noticed the sensor in the pictures below was popped off the lock cylinder. It looks like the plastic clip that holds it on to the back of the lock cylinder has broken off. Its function is to active either the lock or unlock mode when the key fob buttons are pressed. It works as intended, but obviously needs to either be replaced or "repaired" to stay on the back of the lock. Does anyone know what Toyota calls this thing or have a part number? The same piece on the tailgate lock was also this, and was fixed with some non standard engineering.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Yup, the electrical switch and housing look exactly like, but the wiring harness is much longer with a different connector plug? I assume the front door assemblies are different from the tailgate version?

Ok, it looks like it is part number 84903-60020 for the drivers side and 60010 for the passengers side. Toyota call it the Door Unlock Switch Sub-assembly. The rear doors number is 60040.
