That would be cool, if they were strong enough to hold up.
Any idea what they were asking?

The pin on the handle can come out, but tapping it too hard with a punch can break the metal handle, did it. Also, the plastic clip that holds the rod on will break, but when you get ready to rebuild them, I have some extra clips (green) for the rods I can send you.

I cant remember who but someone 3D printed the nylon part into metal. I got a set for the inevitable day. I think they are on Shapeways.

been a while ago . i had 3 sets of 4 made ,all of different material .... when you order it lets you chose the material .. there is a thread somewhere here that has all the info
