I can use some help with this one. I am trying to get the correct door glass channel weatherstripping for my 1970 FJ40 Land Cruiser. I was at the local Toyota dealership today, looks like the part number is 68141, and 68141A. This is the compressed felt material that seals the door window to the door frame, or window channel run. Anyone know the correct parts number thru Toyota? Or does Toyota not even offer that part? I have bought the door glass rubber sweep, and the inner door glass fuzzy from Toyota. I would think they offer the door glass channel strip. Thanks in advance.

These pics were taken from my Toyota microfiche dated Jan '81 for the FJ40 series, BJ40, and FJ55 for the US and Canadian markets for the period 03/69 to 07/80. See if any of this helps or reply with any questions. BYW, I don't know if these parts are available or not. Also, I believe the p/n you referenced (68141A) is for a later model shown below.

I now believe you are correct when you say the part number 68141, and number 68141A are for the later FJ40. It is starting to look like the correct part for the 1970 Land Cruiser may not be available thru Toyota. It is a hard compressed felt like material, very well made. I may just give up my search. I am not one to trust aftermarket parts. I try and get NOS, or factory made parts when I can. Thanks for educating me . The parts person at the Toyota dealership seems to be at a road block.
