Great mod. I had the kids help me install this yesterday.
Note 1: Make sure you position your switch as deep into the pocket as the radius will allow or the switch will hit the steel behind the trim panel. We had to make a minor adjustment in position after initial installation.
Note 2: The hole is super easy to cut out with an Exacto Knife, no need for drills, files or Dremels.

This is an absolutely brilliant mod. Can’t wait to do this in my 80 this weekend.

I just got back from camping with my 100, and could have absolutely used this feature. The truck sat with an open tailgate at least 50% of the time, and I didn’t want to disconnect the battery. Is there a similar mod available for a 100 series? I did a cursory search but am only seeing this thread.
