I had the same thing happen to mine. There is no support under the plastic on the handle where you rest your arm and if you got bony elbows like mine and put any weight on it, it cracks.
The dealership replaced the whole plastic interior door covering for me free of charge, so it is a warranty item

How the hell do people use that as a arm rest comfortably? I always use the plastic up top (right next to the glass aka top of the door).

Armor All and the price of rice?

I agree, that part of the door is too low, even with the seat all the way down in the lowest position. I also am wondering what the use of armor all has to do with the price of rice? Does it cause the chemical compound of the plastic resin the door is made from to deteriorate or something? :hhmm:

ignore price of rice. Armor All on any car is bad news on the inside. Armor all "protecant" dries out porous plastics (and plastic in general) thus making it very easy to crack over time. Good brands would include 303 Aerospace (best one out there) and what I use, Mequiars "quick interrior" detailer. The only armor all product I use is tire-spray, and that's because I have yet to find a tire spray cleaner that cleans as good as Armor All, and the other ones, even black magic, apparently "coat" the tire and fling off when you drive around onto your car...not cool.

303 Aerospace is really good stuff. I used ot on my boat seats and console - Makes a huge difference on the sun affects and keeps the vinyl soft and new looking. I've heard that Armor All makes the tires crack also. Anyone know about that?
